Getting Started

Is it about time you became a man or woman of God? Get connected to God by beginning and then developing your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

CCF offers a variety of opportunities to help people begin their spiritual journey and grow in their knowledge of the Lord and His plan for their lives. The formal CCF discipleship program is called Deeper Into God (D. I. G.) and is outlined below. This program is supplemented by an informal program of Bible Study classes and lessons, some of which are stand-alone and others of which are conducted as part of a small group or ministry.

D.I.G. 101 Community: "Belonging to the Community of the Church"-God has created each of us to live in community with one another. This session will cover the history, core beliefs and values of Community Christian Fellowship along with four key focus areas of belonging: fellowship, outreach, ministry, and worship. The session will include a review of the discipleship program of CCF. This is the membership class of CCF.   

D.I.G. 201 Commitment: "Becoming a mature follower of Christ"-If you have completed D.I.G. 101 you are ready for D.I.G. 201. Here we will look at the many disciplines and life-style issues connected to a healthy relationship with God. We will explore six habits of highly effective Christians.   

D.I.G. 301 Commission: "Serving Christ"- If you have completed D.I.G. 201, you are ready to for D.I.G. 301. As a believer, God has given you spiritual gifts and talents to be used in developing His kingdom. In D.I.G. 301, we will help you discover your unique composition, how God has designed you, your gifting, your personality and your passion to fit specifically into His plan for you and His Church. You have a contribution to make to His Kingdom that is unique to you.  

D.I.G.401 Calling: "Reaching Our World for Jesus" - If you have completed D.I.G. 301you are ready for D.I.G. 401. As we mature in Christ, we discover that we are able to significantly influence other people for Christ. In this class we will investigate God's calling on our life, the value of our testimony and look at how to become a "world-class Christian". This level of discipleship training will explore thoroughly the principles of servanthood in fulfillment of Jesus' words when he said, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work."
